1.4 In no event shall Grad Consultants be liable (whether for breach of contract, negligence or for any other reason) for: any failure by you to contact an advertiser of a position of employment or to secure a position or employment, loss of salary, loss of profits, exemplary or special damages, loss of sales, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, loss of any software or data, loss of bargain, loss of opportunity, loss of use of computer equipment, software or data, loss of or waste of management or other staff time, or for any indirect, consequential or special loss, however it arises.
1.5 Advertisements for positions are placed by the advertisers and are not the responsibility of Grad Consultants. You agree that the obtaining or viewing of any advertisements for positions or any other material through the use of the Service is carried out at your own risk and that Grad Consultants has no liability to you in respect of such things. In particular, we do not warrant or guarantee at any time that you will receive any alerts from Advertisers regarding potential positions.
1.6 Grad Consultants may change the format and content of the Site and/or the Services from time to time. You should refresh your browser each time you visit the Site to ensure that you download the most up to date version of the Site.
1.7 Grad Consultants may from time to time provide links to sites which are operated by third parties. Any such links are provided with a view to assisting visitors but Grad Consultants accepts no responsibility for the information contained on such sites nor does it warrant that such sites will be virus free.
1.8 Grad Consultants is not liable for any action you may take as a result of relying on any advertisement for a position of employment provided in this Site.

3. Personal Data and the Data Protection Act
3.1 By agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions, you are consenting to us collecting, transmitting and storing certain personal data about you. This data will be used to provide the service you have registered and/or applied for and may be stored by Grad Consultants to keep you informed of products and services which may be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive such information, all you need to do is write to let us know. If you wish to receive details of personal data held about you by us or our partners, you may write to request this – there is a fee for this service. We do not obtain personal data from your computer or gather personal information about you.
3.2 Grad Consultants is fully committed to compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
4. Services
4.1 Any financial research content is provided with a view to stimulate discussion in the financial services industry only, may change without notice, and should not be construed as an offer or advice to buy or sell securities or any other financial product. Officers, associates, freelancers or employees of Grad Consultants may hold positions or take positions in investments referred to on this Site.
4.2 Any information used is obtained from sources which are believed to be reliable but cannot be guaranteed. Grad Consultants nor its freelancers makes no guarantee, representation or warrantee and accepts no responsibility or liability as to the accuracy or completeness of this Site. Any opinions given are intended solely for the use by the original client. The value of investments may fall as well as rise. Specialist investments, such as investing in small companies or in emerging markets, carry higher risks. You are strongly advised to contact your professional financial advisor before entering into a contract to buy or sell any security. Grad Consultants is not regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
4.3 When contacting Grad Consultants regarding a financial research or analysis assignment, you must provide Grad Consultants with complete and accurate information, and notify Grad Consultants of any changes to that information throughout an assignment. 4.4 Investors who are not financial professionals should look for additional consultations before making any investment decision
4.5 Liability restriction: Each financial researcher and analyst who is involved in writing any report or undertaking any financial assignment on behalf of Grad Consultants confirms that all points expressed are his/her own opinion about financial instruments or issuers. Researchers or analyst rewards are not dependent on opinions or recommendations, which may be stated in a report. Grad Consultants is not responsible for opinions expressed by any of its freelancer researchers or analysts, however they may be expressed.
4.6 Each freelancer retained by Grad Consultants holds appropriate professional indemnity insurance for the work they undertake. Grad Consultants carries out thorough checks on each freelancer prior to their participation in an assignment and cannot be held liable for any work they undertake, particularly regarding errors, omissions, sources or deadlines.
5. Complaints Policy
5.1 Grad Consultants will use all reasonable endeavours to respond to complaints received in writing from clients in accordance with the following procedure:
5.2 Complaints will be acknowledged within three working days of receipt;
5.3 If the complaint concerns the conduct of a freelancer or group head, the matter will be referred to the company proprietor who will be asked to respond in writing direct to the complainant within 10 working days;
5.4 In respect of other complaints, Grad Consultants will carry out an investigation and respond in writing within 10 working days of acknowledging the complaint;
5.5 Grad Consultants will contact the complainant approximately five days after delivery of the response to discuss the response and (if necessary) the possibility of escalating the complaint.
6. General
6.1 Grad Consultants does not represent any university, business school or commercial enterprise other than its own.
6.2 All information, trademarks and logos are used with permission but remain the property of their respective owners
6.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
6.4 By registering your details on the Grad Consultants website and attending any events run by or for Grad Consultants, you are authorising Grad Consultants to use any feedback, pictures, images or other media (including video) that may be gathered before, during and after the event(s) for promotional purposes online and offline.
